As an award-winning executive, fundraiser, and builder of partnerships, Jane is deeply committed to advancing environmental conservation and green community development. She served as the founding Executive Director of the National Alliance of Community Economic Development Associations (NACEDA), where she spearheaded legislative reforms and collaborated closely with U.S. congressional leaders to champion a progressive "Green Policy" agenda.
Jane brings extensive federal agency experience, including significant contributions at the Department of Homeland Security, focusing on climate change-related disaster management. Her career boasts leadership roles in banking, housing, and community development sectors, alongside active participation on advocacy and volunteer organization boards. Based in the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C., Jane initiated the Green Party within the Citizens’ Association, advocated for urban forest preservation, and testified on environmental legislation at Montgomery County Council hearings.

Erin DeMarines
